I got a new job!!

Yep, just as the title of this post says. I got a new job. I am going to be working at Metro Health Hospital here in Grand Rapids starting December 17th. I put my 2 week notice in yesterday, and my manager said, "you mean 22 weeks, right?!" I replied, "no, just 2... ha ha..." I am going to miss Hackley a lot. It's been great working for them, but the amount of gas I go through to get back and forth is killing me!!!

Oh by the way, happy 22 months to my boyfriend Anthony!! Today we have been dating for 22 months. It's hard to believe that we'll have been dating for 2 years in January.

Anyway have a great day, and be safe in this cold weather... Brr...

Happy Anniversary!!!

My parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on August 7. Tonight my grandparents took them, my Uncle Tom, my Aunt Lisa, Uncle Jon, and their two boys, Eric and Daniel, along with Kari, Austin, Stephen, Anthony, and myself to O'Charley's for dinner.

It was really good. I had chicken tenders and popcorn shrimp w. "smashed" potatoes. Yummy!! It was really good...

Then we went back to Grandpa and Grandma's house and chilled for a while...

A Bibical Argument

Anthony came to church w. my family and me last month and on our way out of the sanctuary, we started talking. Anthony said that Abraham's children were Ishmael and Jacob. I was like no. Abraham's children were Ishmael and Issac. We continued to agrue about it for about 5 minutes or so. So then I asked my dad [cuz I knew that I wasn't wrong] and he was like Ishmael and Issac were Abraham's sons. And I was like, "Ha." I knew my 13 years in a Christian school system wouldn't fail me...

I thought it was funny so I thought I'd share it. Have a good one!!

Chilling in Holland

This weekend my aunt has her girls, Alex and Kelsey at the house. I'm spending the weekend in Holland with my family. My mom, dad, and I are going to watch Ratatouille. The newest Pixar/Disney movie.. I can't wait to see it again.

Tomorrow I have to work, and then I am going out for coffee with my friend Nate. YAY!!!

Relaxation

Days off from work are so nice. :) I went to bed around 2am last night and woke up at 11am this morning... Ha ha... Oh well, it was nice sleeping in.

Anthony and I are going out for dinner tonight w. my friend Michael Bulthuis. I can't wait to see him. It's been forever!!

Did you remember?

Did you remember to change your clocks back? I did thankfully. Knowing my sweet boyfriend like I do, I'm going to guess that his clocks still read an hour ahead. Lol... But I love him anyway.

I was working last night and I was delivering trays, and I deliver this tray to a patient, and she bossed me around. I turned around so fast and was like, " Please do NOT boss me around." She looked at me and I don't think she believe that I said that to her. I thought it was quite funny. I got some disappointing news too. One of my favorite RNs is leaving Hackley Hospital and going to work over at Spectrum here in Grand Rapids... *tears* He even told me in person so that I wouldn't hear it through the grapevine. He called me one of his "buddies." Hehe....

Anyway I hope that you have a great day whatever you do. I have to work at 3:00pm and then I am hanging out with Anthony and Nick...

It's officially November. My computer clock just read 12:00AM. It's November 1st today... Weird. Where the heck has the time gone?? It was just October, and now here its November already... Craziness...
