Glad the weekend is here!

The weekend is here!! Its been a nice and relaxing weekend. :-) I've enjoyed it so far. Tomorrow is Sunday, and we'll go to church and watch Naomi DeJonge get baptized.

Tonight my mom and I went to see the movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. It was an awesome movie. I definitely want to own it, when it comes out on DVD.

Bad Day... sorta.

So I woke up late today. I thought that I worked from 11am-7pm today. I looked at the wrong week. I always write down my work schedule for Aunt Kate so that she knows what days I work, etc. Well before I went to bed last night, I looked at last week's work schedule for today. Oops. So it wasn't the greatest day. I clocked in at 8:20am. Only 20 minutes later than I was suppose to be. Dang it! Whenever I wake up late for something, like work especially. I always feel like I'm trying to catch up. Well I honestly don't think that I ever did really "catch up" today. It was crazy busy at the hospital. Everyone was gearing up for the holiday weekend. A weekend that thankfully I don't have to work. :-) There were so many floor stock requests from all different areas of the hospital. I think I had like 6-7 of them just to myself. Thankfully some of them were only like 1-2 items, but then others were like 15-20 items!! AHHHHH!!!

Anyway I hope that I have a better day tomorrow, and I hope that everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday weekend!!

Today was fun

I went to Holland today. :-) I got to see a friend who I haven't seen in a really long time. :-) I got to see my mom and my dad; who I haven't seen in about a month. :-) I got to see my sister's dorm room, and meet one of her roommate. :-)

Life is good.

Good times.

Tonight I went out for dinner to Red Robin with my friend Jesse Vander Kodde.
We've been friends for a long time. We met at heritage camp, and later were
volunteers together. And now we just go out for dinner whenever we get the
chance. So that's what we did tonight. We had fun catching up, and enjoying
each other's company.

Being sick is no fun!!

Yesterday morning I woke up with a sore throat. I didn't really think anything of it until later in the day when it was really bugging me. So I decided last night that if it was still bugging me, I would go see a doctor today.

Well I woke up today around 11ish. My throat still hurt!!! So I took a shower and got ready for the day. I headed out to the hospital. I went to Express Care. It turns out that my sore throat is tonsillitis. Ugh!!! So I had a doctor's note to get me out of working tomorrow, and I'll be back to work on Friday.

Pray that this goes away soon!! It hurts really bad. Anyway have a good night. I think I'm going to bed shortly. I'm tired.
