Even in the mist of feeling cruddy.

Today was a hard day. Not only did I have to work, but I woke up with a massive migraine this morning at 5:30am. It was hard to get up for work. Hard to work with all the noises around me. Hard to eat, hard to think. I was suppose to work a double-shift today. Thankfully my managers found someone to replace me for this evening.

But I think to myself. Even in the mist of feeling cruddy. I can't stop singing praises to God. Even when I feel like the whole world is laying on me. Pounding on my poor head.

Yesterday was a good day. I got to hang out with a friend. :) We watched Grey's Anatomy together.

Tomorrow is going to be a fun day. Elora Rene turned 2 on Monday. We're having her birthday party tomorrow with everyone. Natalie called me earlier and said that Elora was naming off people who were coming. "Uncle Tony, Aunt Bethany." I couldn't help but laugh. It'll be fun. I'm excited.

It's going to be a long week!!

Wow, I am so tired right now. I can tell that it's going to be a long week. I'm working a double tomorrow, and Friday. I work a regular shift on Tuesday. It's going to be a long week. That's all I have to say.

I hope that you all had an enjoyable weekend. I worked all weekend.

Ahh... the weekend

I love weekends!! Especially the ones that I don't have to work. :-)
Yesterday I went to Muskegon and got to hang out w. my boy! :-)
I got to hang out w. that silly boy.... ----->
We were watching the movie Shrek a few weeks ago. Kari has "Shrek ears", and I put them on Anthony.

Fun times at the beach!!

Today my mom's side of the family met up at the beach for a picnic and to take pictures for my Grandpa Gene's birthday. He's gonna be 84 at the end of this month.

It was a gorgeous day for pictures and a nice picnic.

Anyway hope you had a good weekend! I'm off to bed as I have to work tomorrow at 7am... Aw phooey!!

Happy Labor Day!! [and Happy September!!]

Wow, it's September already. Where has the time gone?! Pretty soon fall will be upon us, and then Thanksgiving and after that Christmas. Oh gosh. This year is going by really fast.

Yesterday was a good day. I enjoyed it. I went to church w. the family. We headed out for Chinese. [it was kinda yucky to say the least.] I went to Muskegon and got to hang out with my boyfriend. :-)

Anthony called me yesterday and wanted to know if I wanted to head to the beach with him and the guys. I said that I didn't have a swimsuit with me. He said that it was okay and he'd just throw me in with all my clothes on. Geez, thanks. So I went to a couple stores to look for swimsuits. Unfortunately it's end of season, and there's not many left to pick from, but I managed to find one and only paid $10.58 for it. *grins* So I was happy about that.

I got to the beach and was walking down to the water trying to look for Anthony and the guys. Anthony had told the guys that he was going to come look for me, and he found me. The water was a nice 69 degrees. :-) It was kinda chilly at first, but you got real used to it after a couple minutes.

It was a great weekend. Now I have to work today, bummer... At least I get time and a half.
