Happy Thanksgiving!!

I hope that everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!

It still hurts at times...

I was putting away items from Anthony and my relationship the other day. The teddy bear, pictures, scrapbook, and other items as well.

I know that it will still take time to heal from it, but I was going through the scrapbook, and I was looking at the pictures and reading the captions under them. One was a short story about how Anthony and I met at the Lakes Mall in Muskegon.

"He held my hand and hasn't let go since."

But he has let go, and it still hurts. I'm still not ready to be around him, but I still want to know how he's doing. It's so hard having the new house only 10 minutes away from Sharpe BMW, and wanting to go over and see him, but we're not dating anymore.

He's moved on. I've started to move on. Life is better now that it was a month, two months ago. I'm happy for the time that we had, and losing him isn't the end of the world. It was only a chapter in my life. But that chapter is over now.

So please, just say a little prayer from time to time. It still hurts, but life is so much better. I'm happier now.

Ta Da!! We finally have internet up and running!!

As the title says. We finally have the internet up and running at the new house. So that means that I can eventually put pictures up of my mini apartment, my bathroom, and the whole rest of the house. Oh yeah, and of course the newest member of the Corbett family the kitten, Jade. She prefers to hide out under Aunt Kate's bed at the moment. She's a bit skittish.

Anyway that's all the news for the day. I'm working from 11am to 7pm today and tomorrow. I have off on Monday, work Tuesday, off Wed/Thursday [turkey day!!], work Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Just ridiculous!!

This is just ridiculous. We still don't have internet at the new house.... UGH!!! But there's not much we can do about it until we get the new modem cuz the one that we did get was defective... GRR... We were suppose to get it yesterday, but we didn't. I'm not sure if Aunt Kate called AT&T or not, but yeah....

So it's been a month as of today that I have been single. It's strange. You live your life by hanging out with your boyfriend/girlfriend, and then they drop the "B" word on you.... "break-up"... and your life feels like it's over. I honestly felt like I was going to die, but I'm here. I feel so much better than I had for a really long time when I was dating Anthony. I love him, I will always love him, but in the end it wasn't meant to last. So here I sit a month has gone by, and I'm happy. I really am.

Anyway have a great day, and a great rest of your week. Hopefully I will have internet at the new house by the end of this week... *crosses fingers* Have a great thanksgiving next week if I don't write before then!

Still no internet.... *sigh*

There's still no internet at the new house. According to Alex someone is coming to the house this week, but she didn't say when. *sigh* So here I am again, at the hospital using the computers in the library b/c there's no internet at the house yet.

Movie suggestion: go see Madagascar Escape 2 Africa. It's so funny... :)

Sitting in the library cuz there's STILL no internet at the new house!!

As the title of this post says. There's no Internet at the new house yet. *sigh* But Aunt Kate said that there will hopefully be Internet by Thursday [tomorrow]... The phone guy came on Monday. So hopefully by tomorrow. :)

Yesterday was a strange day. I went into my bathroom down in my mini apartment and there was icky water in my shower. :( So Aunt Kate had to call a plumber and get that fixed. Apparently there was roots in the pipes, whatever that means. But the icky water seeped onto the floor. So I'm gonna take bleach to the shower and the floor, and possibly the toilet cuz it's connected to the shower as well.

Today will have been two weeks since Anthony and I decided to call it quits. I miss him, but in a way I'm happy that it's over. Please keep praying though. I really appreciate it.

Anyway have a great rest of your week. Enjoy these next couple days of the 70 degree weather as well. It's suppose to snow this weekend!! Phooey!!
