The weekend is upon us!!

I'm so glad that the weekend is here. I really needed it.
It was such a long week last week. Oh my gosh! I worked
about 30 hrs. Phew.... It'll be a nice size paycheck though. :-)

Tomorrow is Austin, Alex, and Nathan's birthday party.
Alex turned 17, Nathan turned 13, and Austin will turn 17
on Wednesday. It should be a fun time.

I still can't believe that Austin will be 17. I remember the day
we picked him up from the Baltimore airport. We were living
in Virginia that summer. Daddy was doing research with NASA.

It's been a long day

It's been a long day. *sigh* I'm glad that it's almost over. Lol. in 9 minutes it will be a new day.

I woke up early to bring my car into the mechanic so that they could replace the water pump due
to a leaking water pump. I don't know how to explain it, but the radiator was overheating and that's
not so very good.

They gave me a loaner car which turned out to be this huge pick-up truck. Man it was big. I wasn't so
keen on driving it, but oh well. I only had it for about 7 hrs or so. Around 2pm Alex and I picked up
my car and her truck [they had been working on it as well]. And off we went.

Tonight I went to Muskegon to see Natalie, Joe, and Elora. It was good seeing them since I haven't seen
them since hmm.... early February/late January. Natalie looks like she could pop any day now. I hope it's
a little boy. That would be fun especially since I've been seeing some really cute little boy clothes at stores,
but I don't dare buy any of them for fear that the baby is a girl instead.

Internet is finally back up and running!!

We finally have the internet back up and running again! Yay!! It's nice not having to go to the library every other day just to check your email and let your friends know that you're still alive.


I've had this song in my head all day. I love it!!

Snow snow go away....

I'm sick of the snow!! I'm sick of winter!! I'm thinking the groundhog saw his stupid shadow and that makes what 6 more weeks of winter or something like that?! Lol...

No internet---by tomorrow though for sure.

Still no internet at the house--Comcast comes out to the house tomorrow, so it'll be there by tomorrow!! Aunt Kate said that if it's not up and running on all 3 computers [Alex's, mine, and hers] that I can duct tape the technician to a chair until she comes home. Lol... I hope I don't have to go that crazy.

Metro Health has been spreading a cold around the hospital, and I caught it. UGH.

Above is one of my new favorite songs. We sang it today in church. It was definitely strange not seeing Pastor Jim Boer in church today. I'm sure it'll feel strange until he returns.

I'm glad I was able to spend time in Holland this weekend, even if I wasn't really here for most of it. Friday I got home around 10:30ish. An hour later, I was at my friend's house watching the movie, The Prom. We ended up hanging out till about 2:30am. It was fun. He leaves for Air Force boot camp on February 24th. So we're trying to hang out whenever possible.

Saturday I went to Muskegon to see Natalie, Joe, and Elora. It's tough not seeing them as much as I used to, but I'm thankfully that we're still really close even if I'm not dating Anthony anymore. I'm hopefully going to be meeting them in a little while to go watch Elora build a bear at the store Build-A-Bear. Should be lots of fun. :)
